Biologic Studies Group

The BSRBR-RA is a part of the Biologic Studies Group (BSG), a collection of national prospective observational cohort studies based at the University of Manchester.

• The BSG is based at the Centre for Musculoskeletal Research at The University of Manchester.
  
  
• The studies that make up the group primarily collect long-term safety data for biologic, biosimilar and other targeted therapies in the treatment of musculoskeletal and dermatological conditions.
  
  
• To do this, the studies in the group draw on their state-of-the-art epidemiology and statistical methods expertise, plus strong international links and collaborations with similar studies.
  
  
• The BSG are experts in the field of pharmacovigilance monitoring and compliance with global regulatory requirements for drug safety monitoring.
