Support Your Registers!

We still need your support!

The British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) runs a number of Biologics Registers for musculoskeletal conditions. The Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA) and Ankylosing Spondylitis (AS) Biologics Registers are well established, with the RA and JIA Biologics Registers having been in operation for over two decades.

This is a huge success story only made possible by the truly amazing support of the UK rheumatology community, study participants, the NIHR, the BSR, the funding pharmaceutical companies who manufacture these drugs, and the Universities of Manchester and Aberdeen and many national and international collaborations.

    • The BSR Registers are world-leaders in long-term observational cohort studies in inflammatory research.

    • Analyses of these rich datasets, which include over 25 biologics, biosimilars, JAKis and other new targeted therapies, have made significant impact on patients living with these conditions and the NHS healthcare professionals treating them.

    • We want to celebrate the work of the BSR Registers over the last two decades, and also to look to future.

We still need your support! There are still questions to answer and the BSR Registers are as important today as they were when the biologic therapies were first introduced in the UK over 25 years ago. With further new treatments for these conditions in the development pipeline, it is important that the BSR Registers continue to receive this amazing support!
