Our discoveries
The BSRBR-RA study is providing an important source of data for research into rheumatoid arthritis treatments.
How is the study progressing?
The data that is sent to us by the patients and consultants is analysed by the research team, who write up their findings, which are then published in research journals. You can read a summary of what has been found out so far in a journal article, The BSRBR-RA at 15 years by Hyrich et al.
You can also find brief summaries of some of our research findings in the lay summaries section of this website.
As the study continues, more data will become available for analysis, making the BSRBR-RA even more useful for researchers.
Our researchers are busy looking at all the information that has been collected in the study to see what they can find out about the safety of biologic therapies, and also about how well they work for people with rheumatoid arthritis.
If you have any ideas about what you would like our researchers to look at please get in touch, we would love to hear from you.
Study news and updates are also included in our participant newsletters.
